The once-frozen position of the Arab League is slowly thawing toward Israel. Subsequently, historic peace accords with Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Sudan are signed, and many others are on the way.

  1. Lebanon has been under the thumb of Syria since it was born around 1946. At one time ,the nation had a balanced government,Shiite,Sunni,Christian and other minorities Today, Hizbollah has occupied the south and occasional outbreaks occur elsewhere in the country.
