Weapon and Drug Smuggling Attempt from Lebanon into Israel Thwarted by IDF

IDF observation troops spotted several suspects smuggling bags from Lebanon into Israeli territory, by the village of Mattat. IDF troops and the Israeli Police monitored the suspects throughout the smuggling attempt and apprehended the suspects.

During the apprehension, 15 firearms, 36 kilograms of drugs, and dozens of cartridges, in total worth around 2,000,000 NIS, were confiscated.
