Airstrikes Outside Damascus, Syria (April 27th)

CBW operations do not stop as long as the activity of transferring advanced weapons from Iran to Syria and from there to Hezbollah through the land, air, and naval corridors does not cease.

Several Iranian transport planes recently landed at Damascus airport, including yesterday (April 26).
Tonight (April 27), another airstrike was carried out in the Damascus area. To our understanding, the attack took place in two locations: the first west of Damascus and the second south of Damascus.

The first and main area attacked west of Damascus is between the Almaza military airport and the suburb of Qudssaya. There are military depots in the area, close to the highway connecting Damascus and Beirut. Advanced weapons can be transferred quickly and a short distance from Syria to Lebanon to Hezbollah.
The second area attacked is south of Damascus, near the town of al-kiswah. In our estimation, Syrian air defense batteries were attacked in al-Kiswah, firing on the attacking planes.

As a result of the attack, 4 Syrian soldiers were killed and three wounded. Apparently, these are soldiers who operated the air defense batteries. Among those killed was Colonel (“Akid”) Rifat Saleh.

Hezbollah’s military buildup using advanced conventional weapons coming from Iran continues all the time.
The Israeli challenge is to stop the transfer of these weapons through accurate intelligence.
