Daily Update July 8, 2024, 02:30 pm – Northern Arena

1. In the past 24 hours, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for five attacks against Israel using high-trajectory fire (including Grad rockets), anti-tank missiles, and suicide UAVs.

2. In addition, there was one event of a UAV incursion into Israeli territory in the Upper Galilee and Mevo’ot HaHermon region. No responsibility was claimed.

3. Yesterday (July 7), Hezbollah launched anti-tank missiles toward the Zar’it area, injuring an American civilian and an IDF soldier.

4. Also yesterday, Hezbollah launched about 10 Grad rockets toward the Upper Galilee region and a suicide UAV toward Mount Hermon.

5. Yesterday, the IDF eliminated Mustafa Hassan Salman, an operative in Hezbollah’s Rockets and Missiles Unit, around Qlaileh. Salman took part in the planning and execution of numerous terror attacks against the State of Israel.

6. In the past 24 hours, the IDF struck Hezbollah compounds and infrastructures around Ayta Ash Shab, Maaroub, Naqoura, Tallouseh, Jabal Tourah, and Houla and weapon storage in Qabrikha.

7. In addition, IDF soldiers shot artillery fire to remove threats in several areas in southern Lebanon.

8. Attached is a video of the launch of anti-tank missiles by Hezbollah from the civilian residents in Ayta Ash Shab. This is another example of Hezbollah’s use of civilian infrastructure for terrorist purposes and the use of Lebanese civilians as human shields.
