Weekend Update July 25-28, 2024, 02:00 pm – Northern arena

1.   In the past 72 hours, Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for 27 attacks against Israel, utilizing a variety of weapons including high trajectory fire (such as Grad, Falaq, and Burkan), anti-tank missiles, suicide UAVs, and surface-to-air missiles.

2.   Additionally, there were two incidents of UAVs incursions from Lebanon that were intercepted by the IDF, as well as a single projectile fired at Dafna area. No responsibility was claimed for these events

3.   On Thursday (July 25), Hezbollah launched suicide UAVs at the community of Neve Ziv and fired anti-tank missiles at the communities of Shtula and Manara. One of the missiles aimed at Shtula caused severe damage to a kindergarten in the community.

4.   On Friday (July 26), Hezbollah fired anti-tank missiles at the communities of Shtula, Avivim, and Misgav Am.

5.   Yesterday (July 27), Hezbollah claimed responsibility for launching Falaq-1 rocket at a base in the Hermon region. The rocket hit directly at a football field in the Druze community of Majdal Shams, located at the foothills of the Hermon. The attack caused the deaths of 12 children and injured approximately 40 others, including teenagers, adults, and elderly individuals. 6.   Over the past 72 hours, the IDF has targeted several Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon, including buildings, infrastructure, rocket launchers, and ammunition in the areas of Rab El Thalathine, Aitaroun, Ayta ash Shab, Markaba, Kfarchouba, Houla, Kfarkela, Chabriha, Borj El Chmali, Beqaa, Khiam, and Tayr Harfa.

7.   Furthermore, IDF soldiers shot artillery fire to eliminate threats in several areas in southern Lebanon, including Ayta ash Shab, Chebaa, Jibbain and Labbouneh.
