Daily Update – Northern Arena, August 15, 2024, 04:00 pm

1.Over the past 24 hours, #Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for six attacks against #Israel using high trajectory fire (including Grad rockets) and suicide UAVs.

2.Additionally, this morning (August 15), two UAVs were intercepted near Ma’alot-Tarshiha and the Golan Heights region, and another one hit in an open area near the community of Arab al-Aramshe. Incidents for which no responsibility was claimed.

3.Yesterday (August 14), Hezbollah launched two rocket barrages at the city of Kiryat Shmona. According to Hezbollah, these attacks were in response to IDF strikes in Lebanon. Four impacts within the city have been identified, as shown in the attached video (Credit: Kiryat Shmona Spokesperson).

4.This morning (August 15), Hezbollah fired a barrage of Grad rockets at the community of Shamir. Hezbollah claimed this was in retaliation for IDF strikes in Lebanon. Attached is a video of the fire that erupted in the community area as a result of the attack, (video from social media, Credit: Unknown).

5.Another barrage of approximately 20 rockets was launched toward the Upper Galilee region.

6.Over the past 24 hours, the #IDF has targeted several Hezbollah sites in Lebanon, including buildings, Hezbollah operatives, and rocket launchers in the areas of Rab El Thalathine, Blida, Houla, Naqoura, Marjaayoun, and Ayta ash Shab.

7.Additionally, IDF forces have conducted artillery fire to neutralize the threat in the Rmeish area.
