1. Over the past 24 hours, #Hezbollah claimed responsibility for nine attacks against #Israel using high-trajectory fire (including Grad and Burkan rockets) and anti-tank missiles.
2. Yesterday (August 19), the #IDF carried out a series of strikes against Hezbollah targets in the Beqaa Valley, deep in #Lebanon, targeting weapon storage facilities. Details of the strikes were published in a separate post.
3. In another IDF strike yesterday in the village of Deir Qanoun in the Tyre area, Hussein Ali Hussein, a key operative in Hezbollah’s rocket and missile unit in the Yarin area, was eliminated.
4. In response to the Beqaa Valley strike, Hezbollah launched approximately 55 Grad rockets towards the Golan Heights this morning (August 20). The launches caused fires in several locations; a video is attached (credit: North Fire and Rescue).
5. In retaliation for the elimination of Hussein Ali Hussein, Hezbollah fired about 25 Grad rockets today into western Galilee, an area that has not been evacuated. A video from social media documenting the attack is attached (credit: unknown).
6. Additionally, over the past 24 hours, the IDF has targeted several Hezbollah positions in Lebanon, including buildings and rocket launchers in the Mansouri and Taybeh areas in southern Lebanon.
