1.This morning (August 28) A vehicle was attacked in Syria on Highway 1, which connects Damascus with the main border crossing to Lebanon (Jdaidit Yabws / Masnaa). According to local reports, three Palestinian Islamic Jihad operatives and a Hezbollah operative named Mohammad Hassan Ta (also known as “Krar”) were killed. Ta was from Baalbek in the Beqaa Valley. Based on the attacked vehicle’s location, it was on route to Lebanon. Assuming the identities of the casualties are correct, there is a possibility that this was a specialized cell of the Islamic Jihad operatives, trained in Syria/Iran, on route to #Lebanon to carry out a specific operation against Israel under Hezbollah’s direction.
2.Additionally, attacks were also reported in the Ain El-tinah area of Baalbek, Beqaa Valley. Further details are unknown at this point.
3.In the past 24 hours, Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for four attacks against Israel, using suicide UAVs and anti-tank missiles.
4.Yesterday (August 27), Hezbollah launched anti-tank missiles at the community of Netu’a and suicide UAVs towards the area of Beit Hillel, resulting in the injury of one soldier.
5.During the night (August 28), three trucks were reportedly attacked around the village of Rassem al-Haddath, north of the city of Baalbek in the Beqaa Valley. These trucks were likely carrying weapons for Hezbollah.
6. In response, this morning (August 28), Hezbollah claimed responsibility for launching suicide UAVs to the Western Galilee area.
7. In the past 24 hours, the IDF has attacked several Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, including a compound where Hezbollah operatives were active in Odaisseh, and IDF soldiers shot artillery fire to remove threats in Chebaa and Yarine .
