- Over the past 72 hours, 38 attacks have been carried out against northern Israel, including the launch of at least 258 rockets and missiles. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for 20 of the attacks, while 18 attacks went unclaimed. Additionally, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for four other attacks for which there was no indication.
- Hezbollah claimed responsibility for 14 direct attacks against cities and communities in Israel. The main targets of Hezbollah’s attacks were the cities of Safed, Tiberias, Rosh Pina, the Krayot area, western Galilee, and the Jezreel Valley.
- In addition, in three seperate incident there were three single rockets launched towards the Samaria region and central Israel from Lebanon (over 100 km from the Israeli Lebanese border). All three projectiles hit open areas.
- On Friday (September 27), as part of Operation “New Order,” the main command center of Hezbollah in Haret Hreik, southwest Beirut, was attacked. In the attack, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, Ali Karki (the southern front commander), and additional commanders of Hezbollah were all eliminated.
- On Friday night, Muhammad Ali Ismail, the Commander of Hezbollah’s Missile Unit in southern Lebanon, and his deputy, the terrorist Hussein Ahmad Ismail. Additional Hezbollah commanders and operatives were eliminated alongside them. With them, additional Hezbollah commanders were also eliminated.
- On Friday, the IDF targeted strategic Hezbollah sites in Beirut, including weapons production facilities, buildings used to store advanced weapons, and key command centers. Among other targets, weapons warehouses in which Hezbollah stored coastal missiles were struck. The missiles were apparently Iranian and/or Chinese-made and stored underground beneath residential buildings in the Dahiyeh area of Beirut.
- On Saturday (September 28), in an airstrike in Dahiyeh of Beirut, the IDF eliminated Nabil Qaouk – the Commander of Hezbollah’s Preventative Security Unit, and member of the terrorist organization’s Central Council. Additionally, Hassan Khalil Yassin, a senior terrorist in Hezbollah’s intelligence array, was eliminated.
- Also on Saturday, the IDF eliminated Ahmad Muhammad Fahd, Head of the Hamas terrorist network in southern Syria.
- Throughout the weekend, continued to degrade and dismantle Hezbollah’s terrorist infrastructure and capabilities, struck over hundreds of Hezbollah targets, including military buildings, rocket launchers, and weapons depots.
- This morning (September 29), an airstrike was reported in Syria, in the town of al-Qusayr in the Homs region, targeting Hezbollah’s arms smuggling to Lebanon. Over the weekend, the IDF carried out additional strikes against several smuggling routes used by Hezbollah to transfer weapons from Syria to Lebanon.
- Over the weekend, Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility for nine attacks against targets in northern and southern Israel. Only one incident of a UAV interception heading towards Israel from the Red Sea was reported; no additional indications were present in the other incidents.
- Also over the weekend, the Houthis carried out two attacks against Israel by launching two ballistic missiles to central Israel. One attack targeted Tel Aviv, and another targeted Ben Gurion Airport during Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s arrival in Israel. Both missiles were intercepted outside Israeli territory.
