- Over the past 24 hours, Hezbollah and terrorist organizations in Lebanon have carried out 36 attacks against Israel, of which Hezbollah claimed responsibility for 26.
- Most of Hezbollah’s claims of responsibility were against IDF forces maneuvering in southern Lebanon. However, many attacks targeted nearby and distant civilian towns and cities that had not been evacuated.
- Hezbollah carried out direct attacks on the communities of Kabri, Hanita, Bar’am, Zar’it, Metula, and the Krayot area. A video documenting the rockets launched yesterday at Maalot Tarshiha is attached.
- Yesterday, the UNIFIL headquarters in Naqoura, southern Lebanon, was hit as a result of a rocket launch by Hezbollah. Several UNIFIL soldiers were injured.
- Yesterday, the IDF announced that a commander of Hezbollah’s Ayta a-Shab sector and other terrorists from the Radwan force were captured in an underground tunnel at a Hezbollah headquarters in southern Lebanon. Their interrogations revealed the locations of weapons storage facilities, rocket launch sites, terrorist positions, and more.
- This morning, the IDF issued a warning to the residents of Baalbek, Ain Bourday, and Douris, calling on them to evacuate before IDF attacks on Hezbollah targets in the cities and villages in the area. The IDF continues to take numerous measures to minimize harm to civilians in Lebanon. Attached are a photo and a video of residents evacuating the villages.
- This morning (October 30), two farmers in the Metula area were injured as a result of Hezbollah rocket launches. Also, this morning Hezbollah fired a barrage of about 15 rockets at the Krayot area, which is home to approximately 150,000 Israelis.
- In the past 24 hours, the IDF continued to locate and destroy Hezbollah’s terror infrastructure through air and ground operations. Over 100 terror targets were attacked, including rocket launchers, weapons storage facilities, anti-tank launch positions, and compounds which resulted in dozens of Hezbollah terrorists being eliminated.
- As part of the IDF operations in Lebanon, Mustafa Ahmad Shahadi, deputy commander of the Radwan force in Hezbollah, was killed in the Nabatiyeh area. In his previous roles, Shahadi was responsible for operations in the Radwan unit during Hezbollah’s fighting in Syria from 2012-2017, and he also effectively managed the unit’s combat directives in southern Lebanon against Israel.
- The Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility for launching a UAV at a target in northern Israel. No additional indications of an attack have been reported.
