Hezbollah Carries Out 34 Attacks Against Israel in the Last 24 Hours
In the past 24 hours, Hezbollah and other terrorist groups in Lebanon have carried out 34 attacks against Israel, with Hezbollah claiming responsibility for 25 of them.
Hezbollah Launches Rockets and Missiles at Civilian Areas in Israel
Hezbollah carried out direct attacks on communities near the border such as Avivim, Kiryat Shmona, and Metula, as well as on areas further from the border, including Safed, Rosh Pina, the Krayot, and one attack on the Tel Aviv area.
Yesterday (October 6), Hezbollah launched about 50 rockets at the Upper Galilee region, and about 25 additional rockets at the Krayot and Haifa Bay area. In the rocket barrage on the Krayot, one civilian, an 18-year-old agricultural worker, was killed by a rocket strike. Additionally, Hezbollah launched several rockets at the Avivim community, killing one soldier and hitting an agricultural structure causing a large fire in the community. 40th Day of Nasrallah’s Elimination: Hezbollah Responds with Fire and Inflates Its Achievements
Yesterday marked the 40th day since the death of Nasrallah, and in his honor, Hezbollah’s new Secretary-General, Nayim Qassem, gave a speech. As part of the commemoration, Hezbollah carried out numerous attacks against Israel, which killed one civilian and one soldier and included two attacks (one reported yesterday) on the Tel Aviv area, over 100 km from the border with Lebanon.
In an attempt to magnify its accomplishments, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for many attacks that did not necessarily happen. In addition to the 25 claims of responsibility, there were five other claims for which no verification was provided. Many of the attacks Hezbollah claimed responsibility for did not align with the times that alerts were activated in Israel, nor did they correspond with the locations. For example, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for firing at the community of Meron, while in fact, sirens were activated in the community of Kadita, and another claim for launching suicide UAV to Haifa and claimed it hit the target while the UAV were intercepted in Nahariya area.
IDF Operations in Lebanon
Yesterday (November 6) in a targeted attack in the Dahieh neighborhood in Beirut several Hezbollah targets were struck including command centers, weapons storage, and Hezbollah military infrastructure. Hezbollah positioned these targets in the heart of civilian areas. Prior to the attack the IDF issued warnings to civilians, urging them to evacuate the area. This is another example of Hezbollah using Lebanese civilians as human shields.
Additionally, in the last 24 hours, the IDF attacked over 20 Hezbollah targets in the Baalbek area as well as in Nabatieh and other villages South Lebanon, resulting in the elimination of about 60 terrorists. IDF ground forces continue operating in south Lebanon, destroying Hezbollah infrastructure and weapons and killing terrorists.
Islamic Resistance in Iraq (Iranian-backed Militia) Attacks Israel
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility for six attacks against targets in northern and southern Israel using UAVs. No further indications or details have been reported.
