Hezbollah Targeted Israeli Civilian Areas
Hezbollah has launched direct attacks on towns and communities near the border, such as Kiryat Shmona, Shomera, Manara, Misgav Am, Margaliot, and Metula, as well as more distant areas like Haifa, the Krayot, Acre, Nahariya, Karmiel, and Safed. Additionally, one attack targeted the Jezreel Valley area and another targeted the Tel Aviv area (over 50 km and 100 km from the Lebanese border, respectively).
Yesterday (October 9), Hezbollah launched approximately 30 rockets at the Krayot area. Attached below is a video of a rocket hitting a residential neighborhood in the Krayot and another video showing a rocket directly hitting a vehicle, also in the Krayot (credit: unknown).
This morning (October 10), Hezbollah launched about 10 rockets toward the city of Nahariya, injuring three civilians. Around 8 rockets were also launched at the Kiryat Shmona area. A video is attached showing damage caused to a dining hall in Kiryat Shmona by one of the rockets (credit: unknown).
IDF Activity in Lebanon
Over the weekend, IDF forces continued to strike Hezbollah terror targets across Lebanon, from both air and ground. These attacks targets weapon depots, rocket launchers, and underground infrastructure. Additionally, many Hezbollah terrorists were eliminated.
Airstrikes in the Tyre area (November 7), targeted a command-and-control complex operated by Hezbollah’s air unit (Unit 127). Another airstrike (November 9) in Beirut’s Dahiya neighborhood targeted command centers, a weapon production site, and other Hezbollah-used infrastructure. Prior to the attacks, the IDF issued warnings to the local population in order to avoid civilian casualties.
Additionally, in a raid on a weapons depot near a village in southern Lebanon, IDF forces found a mobile rocket launcher with 24 ready-to-launch rockets, aimed at Israeli towns in the Upper Galilee region. The rocket launcher was hidden in a dense forest and connected to a civilian building next to it (photo attached).
Islamic Resistance in Iraq (Iran-backed Militia) Launches Attacks Against Israel
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has claimed responsibility for eight attacks on targets in northern and southern Israel using UAVs, two of which were intercepted by the IDF. Additionally, another UAV was intercepted this morning over the Golan Heights, though no responsibility has been claimed yet.
