Hezbollah launched direct attacks on border-adjacent towns such as Zar’it, Kiryat Shmona, Rosh Hanikra, Margaliot, and Elkosh. Additionally, rocket fire was directed at the city of Nahariya, along with other attacks targeting IDF forces in Lebanon.
On November 17, Hezbollah launched approximately 15 projectiles at the Elkosh area in western Galilee. This morning (November 18), around 30 projectiles were fired toward Nahariya. In a separate attack on the Ma’alot Tarshiha area, one civilian was injured.

Airstrikes in the Dahiya of Beirut targeted six Hezbollah terror sites, including weapon storage facilities, command centers, and other infrastructure embedded within civilian areas. Before the strikes, warnings were issued through various channels to minimize civilian casualties.
In another attack in Beirut on November 17, reports indicated that a senior Hezbollah official from the southern front was targeted in the Mar Elias area. According to local sources, the target was Mahmoud Madi. Some reports describe him as the Southern Front commander (Ali Karaki’s replacement), while others identify him as the operations commander for the Southern Front. No further details are available at this stage.
Iran-backed militias attack Israel
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility for launching a UAV toward the city of Eilat in southern Israel. The IDF intercepted the UAV before crossing into Israeli territory.
