IDF forces uncovered Hitler’s book “Mein Kampf” translated into Arabic in a children’s room of a civilian home in Gaza that had been used as a Hamas terrorist base. The book found among the terrorists’ personal things was marked and highlighted. The terrorist took notes, highlighted portions, and studied Adolf Hitler’s doctrine of hating Jews, killing Jews, burning Jews, and slaughtering them.”

General:

We are at the beginning of the sixth week of the war since Hamas’ appalling attack on Israel.

In the past 3 days, Hezbollah has continued to escalate its aggression against Israel on its northern border, upscaling its attacks on Israel, both in frequency, intensity, boldness, and does not hesitate to cause harm to civilians. The attacks involve the launching of ATGMs at IDF forces and sending unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) toward Israeli territory.

In the south, IDF troops continue to eliminate terrorists while also directing aircraft to strike Hamas terrorist infrastructure, weapons depots, observation positions, and command and control centers in the Gaza Strip. In the last 24 hours, the IDF has been conducting fierce face-to-face battles with terrorists in the Shatti refugee camp. IDF forces in the camp allowed the local citizens to evacuate, when they were attacked by terrorists IDF forces killed the attacking terrorists.

– So far, according to the IDF since Saturday morning Oct. 7, 1,400 Israelis were murdered and 7,262 Israelis wounded. 361 IDF soldiers killed in action, 239 confirmed abducted civilians and IDF soldiers. Since the beginning of hostilities, 9,500+ rockets have been launched into Israel. To date, an estimated 250,000 Israelis have been displaced, required to leave their homes in the communities and towns adjacent to the northern frontier and the Gaza Strip, and have since been placed in different locations across the country. Israeli IDF reservists recruited 360,000.

– Efforts to identify the victims continue: 846 civilians murdered in the war have been identified so far by the Israel Police.

Operational Updates:

Northern Arena:

– The situation at the Lebanese border continues to escalate, especially in the Upper Galilee area. In response to the rocket launches yesterday day, IDF warplanes completed an attack on a series of terrorist targets in Lebanese territory, in which infrastructure and military positions of the Hezbollah organization were destroyed.

Since the commencement of the conflict, Hezbollah has endured a total of 73 casualties.

– During last night, an IDF UAV struck a terrorist cell near Metula that intended to launch anti-tank rockets into northern Israel.

– Yesterday around 19:15 two launches from Syria were detected that fell in an open area. In response to the attack, IDF fighter jets struck terror infrastructure sites in Syria. In addition, the IDF attacked Hezbollah infrastructure in Lebanon due to the launches earlier on Saturday.

-12:45: Terrorists launched anti-tank missiles against civilian electric company workers near the Israeli community of Dovev. The workers were on site mending the electric grid, damaged by an earlier attack. As a result of the unprovoked attack, one civilian is in critical condition while 5 other civilians were seriously injured. In response, the IDF targeted the terrorist cell that opened fire in this incident. Hezbollah took responsibility for firing an anti-tank missile at Dubov, saying it was in response to IDF attacks in Gaza.

Later, the IDF reported that in addition to the shooting toward Dovev, there were additional anti-tank missiles launched from Lebanon toward Israel.

At 15:45 the IDF eliminated the anti-tank squad that launched the missile from which six workers of an electricity company in Dubov were injured.

Around 16:00, sirens blared throughout the Western Galilee in addition to sirens in the Krayot area (Haifa suburbs). The IDF later announced that at least 15 launches from Lebanon towards Israel were detected, four of which were intercepted by the air defense, and the rest fell in an open area. The IDF responded with artillery fire at the sources. In addition, The IDF reported that earlier today 7 soldiers were slightly injured by a mortar shell in the Manara area.

Half an hour after the alarms to the Western Galilee: a rocket fell in Shlomi, there are no reports of casualties

Gaza and Southern Israel:

The Chief of Staff in a flight over the Gaza Strip, in a conversation with the commander of the Golani Brigade: “Tell all your people – you are doing an important job, everyone is behind you, the entire IDF is working for you to advance – until victory!”

-Hamas continues to launch missiles into Israel, although there is a noticeable decrease in the number of launches into Israel. Last night a suspicious aerial target was identified that crossed from the northern territory of the Gaza Strip into the surrounding area, the Iron Dome system successfully intercepted the target.

-The IDF forces are deep in Gaza City, continuing to deepen the offensive against Hamas terrorists, Over the last day, the IDF began fighting significant forces inside the Shatti refugee Camp. As part of the activity, the forces uncovered terrorist infrastructure and eliminated terrorists. In one of the battles, IDF soldiers belonging to the Givati Brigade Combat Team identified the civilian population inside a building, and the soldiers allowed the civilians to evacuate through a secure route. During the evacuation of the civilians, terrorists shot at the IDF forces allowing the civilians evacuation. The IDF soldiers responded with fire in order to protect the evacuation corridor eliminating the terrorists. In another encounter, the soldiers identified a terrorist squad that had fortified itself in a house in the neighborhood and posed a threat to the forces. The IDF soldiers targeted the terrorists directing an Air Force aircraft at them. Furthermore, a fighter jet attacked a munitions warehouse in the building, after the 215th Brigade’s Combat Team detected the launch of an anti-tank missile from it.

Harel Brigade soldiers have recently been operating in the Elkarmen area, between Beit Hanoun and Jabalia. Soldiers destroyed enemy forces and terrorist infrastructure throughout the operations, including long-range rocket launchers directed at Israel, anti-tank missile launchers, terrorist tunnel shafts, and Hamas observation positions.

Humanitarian aid:

It should be noted that under the Rules of War, Israel is under no obligation to supply for the needs of its enemy, Hamas.

-Rafah crossing on the border between Egypt and the Gaza Strip remains open for the flow of humanitarian aid carrying, medicine, medical equipment, and food, due to US pressure, Israel increased humanitarian aid. The IDF emphasizes that all equipment is checked before entering the Strip.

– Gaza’s border authority announced on Saturday that the Rafah land crossing into Egypt would reopen on Sunday (today) for foreign passport holders and dependents.

– According to the Israeli Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), 905 trucks of food, water, and medicine or medical supplies have entered via Rafah since October 21, when Israel first began allowing the tightly controlled shipments. Furthermore, Israel has opened two water pipelines to the south of the Gaza Strip, supplying about 28 million liters of drinkable water each day.

It should be emphasized that the apparently low number of aid trucks that have entered the Gaza Strip thus far is due to donor countries failing to supply the required amount of aid that they themselves demand to be brought into the Gaza Strip. All humanitarian assistance is dependent on these donor countries.

– At the direction of the King of Jordan: Yesterday a plane of the Jordanian Air Force dropped urgent medical aid to the Gaza Strip for the second time – to the Jordanian Field Hospital, according to a military source in the kingdom. It was noted that this was carried out in cooperation with the United Arab Emirates and Qatar

Humanitarian corridor: The IDF continues to urge Gaza City inhabitants to move to a safe humanitarian zone in the Gaza Strip’s southwest, in the Al-Mawasi area, where international aid is supplied via the Rafah crossing. Hamas terrorists are attempting to impede their evacuation through persuasion or force, to exploit these civilians as “human shields.”

In recent days, a senior officer in Israel’s Coordination and Liaison Administration to Gaza spoke with the manager of the Shifa Hospital multiple times and presented him with possible passages from the hospital. The IDF is enabling a passage from the Shifa, Rantisi, and Nasser hospitals.

– IDF Spokesperson in Arabic, Lt. Col. Avihai Adrei, announced that the Salah al-Din route is also open today between 09:00 and 16:00 for the passage of residents to the south. At the same time, he announced the opening of a self-evacuation route that will operate from the Shifa Hospital to Al-Hahda Street – and from there through the Salah al-Din axis to the south of Wadi Gaza. Adrei also announced that there will be a pause in the fighting in the Jabaliya refugee camp today as well between the hours of 10:00 and 14:00, to allow the residents to evacuate to the south. IDF soldiers opened and secured a passage that enabled the civilian population to evacuate, on foot and by ambulances, from the Shifa, Rantisi, and Nasser hospitals.

Fuel into Gaza:  Hamas requires diesel fuel to power its terror tunnels’ ventilation and electrical systems. However, last night, the IDF coordinated the transfer of fuel for urgent medical use to the Shifa Hospital. Early in the morning, IDF troops endangering themselves deep in enemy territory arrived at the entrance of the hospital and placed 300 liters of fuel for urgent medical purposes.

Later, the IDF received evidence that Hamas officials prevented the hospital from receiving the fuel.

There are voices in Israel protesting the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, despite the fact that Israel receives neither humanitarian help nor information about the abductees and hostages held by Hamas. Despite repeated requests to the Red Cross, which claims to have no power over Hamas, nothing has been done.

Judea and Samaria:

– IDF forces are continuing their anti-terror campaign against Hamas and PIJ terrorists.

-Engineering teams under the Central Command destroyed 9 houses belonging to terrorists and Hamas operatives and uncovered terror shafts in which dozens of explosives had been planted.

– During the night throughout Judea and Samaria, the IDF, the ISA, and Border Police arrested 15 wanted persons, including six Hamas terrorists. During the operation in the village of Burka, the soldiers killed Netzer Sif a 34-year-old resident of the village of Burka who was imprisoned for 17 years on the background of involvement in terrorist activity.

Since the beginning of the war, about 1,570 wanted persons have been arrested throughout the Judea and Samaria Division and the Bekaa and Amakim Division, including about 950 who are associated with Hamas.

Iran:

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Hossein Amirabdollahian stated that due to the expansion of the intensity of the war against Gaza’s civilian residents, expansion of the scope of the war has become inevitable.

Lebanon:

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati in an interview to Al Jazeera: “I trust Hezbollah’s rationality. Lebanon is far from war and is interested in stability, we maintain restraint.” Alongside this, he said that “we have a contingency plan for the next three months – if a war breaks out in Lebanon”.

– In a letter to the Arab and Muslim summit in Riyadh, over 30 Lebanese Parliament opposition members petition Arab leaders to engage in all international arenas, particularly the United Nations and the Security Council, to ensure full implementation of UN Resolutions 1701 and 1559. According to the statement, Lebanon is “at the heart of the regional crisis,” and the Lebanese people “fear the escalation of the war could affect their country.” They express concern that the decision-making process of the Lebanese state is “being sullied by an illegitimate armed force serving a regional axis, jeopardizing strategic interests, security, and stability.” The Lebanese, it seems, are opposed to being dragged into an overall war.

Resolution 1559, passed in 2004, calls for the strict respect of Lebanon’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, unity, and political independence, as well as the disbanding and disarmament of all Lebanese and non-Lebanese militias, whereas UN Resolution 1701, passed in 2006 in response to the war between Israel and Hezbollah, sought to end hostilities, establish a ceasefire, and create conditions for long-term peace in the region.

International Arena:

– French president Macron called Israeli President Herzog and requested to clarify his words and emphasize: “France unequivocally supports the State of Israel and your right to self-defense”.
