In the week between July 29 and August 3, the IDF eliminated 5 Hezbollah operatives. Four of them were eliminated during a wave of strikes on July 31 in southern Lebanon and the Beqaa Valley, where infrastructure for the production and storage of strategic weaponry and an underground missile production site were attacked. This site had previously been targeted by the Israeli Air Force. Additionally, on July 28, another operative from Hezbollah’s artillery array was eliminated. While discussions and declarations by the Lebanese government regarding the disarmament of Hezbollah continue, on the ground Hezbollah constantly persists in its efforts to rebuild and enhance its military capabilities.
