13 December 2025 – Evacuation Order By IDF For Yanouh, Lebanon

Hezbollah is an expert in using the human shield tactic. An additional protective layer has been added to the tactic, which is the Lebanese Army. On December 13, at the direction of the Joint Operations Room for the Implementation of the Ceasefire in Lebanon, the Lebanese Army was sent to a compound serving as a Hezbollah weapons depot in the village of Yanouh, east of Tyre in southern Lebanon. The Hezbollah compound is located only 45 meters from a school and a soccer field – the first civilian layer of the human shield. It appears that before the Lebanese Army arrived at the compound, coordination was made between it and Hezbollah, which arranged for “residents” to gather, who took care to prevent the Lebanese Army from approaching the compound (needless to say, among the “residents” were quite a few Hezbollah operatives). After the Lebanese Army left, the IDF announced its intention to attack the compound and issued an evacuation warning. The Lebanese army rushed back to the compound, which, surprisingly, this time was allowed to approach and enter. After about 24 hours, the Lebanese army announced (December 14) that it “conducted a thorough search of the compound and did not find any weapons or ammunition inside the building, and that it remained in the compound to prevent it from being attacked.” The Lebanese army serves as a de facto second layer of human shield for Hezbollah. The Lebanese army operates in full coordination with Hezbollah for Hezbollah. The IDF should issue another evacuation notice and attack the compound immediately.
