Are the Iranians, in cooperation with Hezbollah, establishing a huge training camp for underground warfare east of the city of Homs?

According to our information, the Iranians, via the Revolutionary Guards and in cooperation with Hezbollah, are setting up a large military training camp for underground warfare in the area of the village of Zaghrutiyah, located in the desert about 35 km east of the city of Homs in northern Syria. The camp has a big subsurface infrastructure of tunnels and excavations.

The Iranians took over the area, taking advantage of the fact that its inhabitants abandoned it during the civil war due to harsh living conditions.

The training camp is intended to become a major training camp for underground fighting for elements of the radical Shiite axis led by Iran. In addition to Hezbollah operatives and the Shiite militias operating in Syria, it is estimated that Houthi militia operatives from Yemen, Shiite militia operatives from Iraq, Hamas operatives, and PIJ operatives will also arrive at the camp for training.
