An Airstrike Against Aleppo Airport – Syria (March 22)

Early in the morning (March 22) another airstrike was carried out against the airport in Aleppo which was shut down again. The Iranians are disguising the transfer of weapons as part of the humanitarian aid following the earthquake.

The immediate suspect is Pouya Air’s Ilyushin 76 plane which during the last week flew several times from Iran to Syria and back (March 20 last flight). This is a plane that travels a lot on the Tehran-Moscow route since Iran started supplying weapons to Russia.

A video was apparently filmed remotely after the attack. If it’s authentic, secondary explosions can be seen, indicating that a weapons cache was probably also damaged.
