According to local Syrian reports, in an airstrike on Madinat al-Baath, Syria about three hours ago, a key operative in the Golan File unit (Unit 142) Muhammad al-Tamar (known as Abu Julan) was killed. Three other operatives were killed with him. The Golan File Unit, which we have reported on extensively, operates directly under Hezbollah and its main mission is to carry out terrorist acts against Israel from Syria. Its commander is Abu Hossein Sajid.
