From the start of the conflict, through diligent work and real-time precise intelligence, the IAF severely hindered Hamas’s aerial capabilities by eliminating numerous senior members and operatives from Hamas’s aerial structure. In addition, small surface-to-air missile units, UAVs, and drone units were thwarted before carrying out attacks on IDF forces.

Northern arena:

This morning, the IDF launched eight different strikes against Hezbollah targets located between Ayta ash Shab and the Israeli border. These targets included infrastructures built to sustain Hezbollah’s activity against Israel and communities such as Shtula.

Six rockets launched from Lebanon triggered sirens in the northern Galilee community of Yiftah. All the rockets were successfully intercepted by the IDF Aerial Defense Array. In response, an IAF jet attacked and hit both the launcher and the terrorist cell that fired the rockets into Israel.

Reports originating from Lebanon claimed that the IDF attacked the village of Blida in southern Lebanon, a short distance from the funeral of Hezbollah terrorist Hassan Ibrahim, who was killed yesterday.

15:10 -Hezbollah terrorists launched an anti-tank missile at a military post north of Menara in the Galilee Panhandle. No casualties were reported. The IDF responded with artillery fire. Soon after, the IDF launched a pre-planned series of attacks on Hezbollah targets in the Mount Dov area, not in response to rocket fire.

16:56- Sirens sounded in the town of Ma’alot and the communities of Kfar Vradim, Shomera, and Even-Menahem in western Galilee due to the firing of at least 5 rocket launches. Most of the rockets were intercepted, while others fell in open areas. No injuries or damage were reported.

17:15- Machine gun fire toward the community of Misgav Am.

This evening, two surface-to-air missiles were launched toward an IAF aircraft. The aircraft was not hit and continued on its mission.

This evening, Lebanon’s state news agency, Al-Arabiya reported, that one person was killed in his car by Israeli sniper bullets on the outskirts of Kfar Kila in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah accepted responsibility (18:30) for five attacks against Israel on the Lebanese border today, claiming to have launched Burkan rockets. The Burkan rocket is a heavy rocket with a maximum range of 10 km and the ability to carry a maximum load of up to 500 kg of explosive material.

Dissatisfaction is demonstrated on the part of the residents of southern Lebanon due to the situation. Calls of the residents of the Lebanese village of Aalma El Chaeb against the authorities in light of the disconnection from electricity for a month as a result of damage to the infrastructure due to the war. The power cut also affects the water pumps which work in a very limited way using generators. Furthermore, the authorities in Lebanon report that there has been an increase in the number of displaced Lebanese in the southern villages that are under fire, most of them have arrived in the city of Tyre. According to the Lebanese Directorate of Natural Disasters, there are 24 thousand displaced people registered in the city since the beginning of the war.

Just in (19:30): Sirens activated in Mas’ade and Ein Qiniyye the Druze villages in the northern Israeli Golan Heights. Several launches were detected that crossed from Syria, some were intercepted and the rest fell in open areas.

Today, Hezbollah announced the deaths of two more of their terrorists in southern Lebanon.

Syria:

Unconfirmed reports from Syria claim that an explosion was heard near the international airport in Damascus. Smoke was observed rising from the areas of Mezza, Al-Mazzeh, and Al-Sumaria. No further details at this time.

South/ Gaza:

Troops from the 414th Collection Battalion of the Border Defense Corps operating in the Khan Yunis area in the south of the Gaza Strip identified an armed terrorist carrying an RPG and leaving a military structure. The forces directed an IAF aircraft that attacked and killed the terrorist.

Jordan:

Syrian-Jordanian border – The war in Gaza has led to an escalation in arms smuggling, based on the narcotics smuggling platform. The radical Shiite axis’s narcotics industry network in southern Syria, in collaboration with the Syrian army’s 4th Division (commanded by Maher al-Assad, the president’s brother), poses a significant security challenge, first and foremost for Jordan and then for Israel.

Yemen/Red Sea:

Denmark joined the defense coalition in the Red Sea led by the United States.

Greece recommends ships to avoid sailing in the Yemen area. This is against the backdrop of the fact that 20% of the merchant ships in the world are owned by Greek companies/businessmen, furthermore, according to Bloomberg, more than 100 container ships changed their sailing route and instead of passing through the Bab al-Mandab Strait, they chose to circle the African continent – due to the fear of a conflict with the Houthis.

Houthi official, Abdel-Malek Al-Houthi threatened the USA: “We will not sit idly by if the Americans increase their involvement and attack our country. We will bomb their ships and their interests. We warn other countries not to interfere and not to be involved like the Americans.”

Political:

A draft resolution regarding Israel and Gaza that will be put to a vote in the UN Security Council today: The parties must commit to maintaining the safety of civilians, hold ceasefires and humanitarian corridors throughout the Gaza Strip for several days, and immediately release all abductees. The resolution supports the vision of a two-state solution, according to which the Gaza Strip Gaza is part of a Palestinian state.

Before Ismail Haniyeh’s departure to Egypt to discuss a ceasefire – last night he met with Iran’s Foreign Minister in Qatar.
