Saleh al-Arouri Killed by Explosion in Beirut

Last night (Jan. 2nd, 2023), in an explosion in Dahieh, Saleh al-Arouri, a senior Hamas official and deputy head of the political bureau of Hamas responsible for all Hamas operatives (with an emphasis on terrorist activity) in the Palestinian Authority in Judea and Samaria, was killed. Aaruri operated from Lebanon under the full sponsorship of Hezbollah.

As a result of the damage to the building, another two senior Hamas operatives were killed in addition to al-Arouri:

Samir Fendi:
Aka Abu Amar. Born in 1976 in Rashidiya camp in southern Lebanon, Tzur district. Fendi is considered responsible for Hamas’ operations in southern Lebanon and for launching the rockets from Lebanon to Israel.

Azzam Alaqre:
Aka Abu Abdullah was born in the village of Kablan, near Nablus. Considered responsible for the Az Al-Din Al-Aksam Brigades in Lebanon and the Palestinian foreign arenas. Assisted al-Arouri in recruiting activists to promote military activities against Israel in Judea and Samaria.

In addition to them, four more junior Hamas operatives who were in the building were killed:

Muhammad el Ris
Muhammad Bashasha
Mahmoud Zaki Shahin
