Reports by the Lebanese accuse Hezbollah operatives of hiding around Christian villages in south Lebanon. This photo shows an IDF precision strike targeting Hezbollah, who were operating near the church in Deir Mimas, using them as human shields. Hezbollah used this same Christian village as human shields in the 2006 war, and again this month, resulting in the death of a Lebanese Army soldier.
The ravine and hills along Deir Mimas are a known Hezbollah military zone with the purpose of causing collateral damage while being used to attack Israel.
