Currency Exchanges in Beirut Linked to Hezbollah

Since January 2025, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps Quds Force has managed to transfer $1 Billion to Hezbollah for their post-war reconstruction, mostly through money exchange companies. This round of funding made by the IRGC Quds Force was revealed by the US Department of Treasury in their announcement (November 6th) to impose sanctions on key Lebanese individuals “who facilitated funneling tens of millions of dollars from Iran to Hizballah in 2025, using exchange houses to take advantage of Lebanon’s cash-based financial sector” – Office of Foreign Assets Control. In July 2025, we published a special report detailing Hezbollah’s exploitation of money exchange companies to launder illicit funding for terror infrastructure, weapons, and other terror activities that threaten regional stability and undermine the Lebanese government:

  1. Dear Tal,
It is good to hear that the USA is taking steps to apply sanctions to stop terrorist funds. But the mission must be to remove the command and control structure of the entire islamo-nazi terror machine. To resolve the problem we must remove the terrorist infrastructure and leadership. Carry on.
