During the past week (24–30 November), the IDF conducted number of targeted airstrikes against Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure, including rocket-launch sites, weapons storage facilities, and military positions. In addition, reports indicated a focused ground operation in the area between Blida and Aitaroun, near the border, as part of the IDF’s broader effort to prevent Hezbollah from re-establishing its operational presence in the sector.
The past week was characterized by relatively low operational intensity, with no eliminations reported. Although the Pope’s visit to Lebanon began only on 30 November (and concluded on 2 December), it is possible that the restrained pace of IDF strikes was influenced, at least in part, by the visit.
