IDF Strikes in Lebanon – Weekly Summary (29 December 2025 – 4 January 2026)

Over the past week, the IDF continued to act against Hezbollah’s efforts to rehabilitate and reestablish itself in southern Lebanon, carrying out 10 airstrikes and three ground operations. As part of the airstrikes, engineering vehicles involved in the rehabilitation of Hezbollah infrastructure were targeted, along with a Radwan Unit training compound and military structures used for weapons storage. In addition, two Hezbollah operatives were eliminated in the Safad al-Battikh area, south of the Litani River. The IDF also continued conducting ground operations in villages along the line of contact in order to thwart the renewal and resumption of terrorist infrastructure used by Hezbollah for terrorist activity against Israel.

  1. Dear Avraham,
Thank you for the report on the continuing weeding out of hezbollah from Lebanon. When hezbollah is gone, peace can return. There can be no peace with hezbollah jihaddists ideologically sworn to commit genocide against Israelis, no matter where on the earth they conspire to attack Israel.
