  1. In the past 24 hours, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for eight attacks against Israel using high-trajectory fire of Grad rockets.
  2. Yesterday (July 16) Hezbollah carried out several attacks against civilian targets:
    • launching about 40 Grad rockets to the city of Kiryat Shmona
    • launching dozens of Grad rockets toward the community of Cabri in the Western Galilee
    • launching about 15 Grad rockets toward the communities of Sa’ar and Gesher HaZiv in the Western Galilee
    • launching dozens of Grad rockets toward the communities of Miron, Kfar Hoshen, and Bar Yohai
  3. According to Hezbollah, these attacks were a response to the IDF strikes in southern Lebanon. Attached are videos of the launching to Kiryat Shmona and the Miron area and photos of the damage caused in Kiryat Shmona. taken from social media (credit: unknown).
  4. In the past 24 hours, the IDF struck Hezbollah infrastructures, a rocket launcher, compounds, and terrorists around Mansouri, Blat, Yarine, Kfarkela, Ayta ash Shab, Aitaroun, and Aalma El Chaeb.
  5. In addition, IDF soldiers shot artillery fire to remove threats around Kfarkela, Deir Mimas, Ayta ash Shab, and Majdal Zoun.
  6. Today, the Shiites in Lebanon observe the Ashura ceremonies, which mark the mourning for the death of Hussein in the battle of Karbala. These ceremonies will also take place in South Lebanon.
