Summary

The war between Israel and Hezbollah continues: In the past 24 hours, Hezbollah carried out 28 attacks against Israel ,with at least one direct hit on a residential building in Kiryat Shmona. Four UNIFIL soldiers were injured in a rocket attack though the organization refrained from blaming Hezbollah. The IDF continues its operations in Lebanon targeting Hezbollah terror sites.

Hezbollah Continue Attacks Against Israel in the Last 24 Hours

Over the past 24 hours, Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations in Lebanon have carried out 28 attacks against Israel, with Hezbollah claiming responsibility for 17 of them.

The attacks targeted several communities, including Metula, Ma’alot-Tarshiha, Goren, Sasa, Shtula, Avivim, Margaliot, Misgav Am, and Metula. Additionally, this morning (November 20), a rocket launched by Hezbollah directly hit a residential building in the city of Kiryat Shmona (pictured below).

IDF operation in Lebanon

The IDF continues its aerial and ground strikes against Hezbollah terror targets in Lebanon. In the past 24 hours, the IDF attacked over 100 Hezbollah terror targets. These include rocket launchers used to attack Israel, weapons depots, headquarters, military structures, and other terror infrastructure.

Additionally, The IDF confirmed it eliminated Hezbollah’s coastal sector operations commander and the anti-tank unit commander on Sunday (October 17).

Four UNIFIL Soldiers Injured by Rocket Fire, Organization Avoids Blaming Hezbollah

On November 19, four UNIFIL soldiers were injured after a rocket launched by Hezbollah from the Dir Ams area struck the UNIFIL base in Ramiyeh, southern Lebanon. The rocket, which failed mid-flight, was part of a barrage launched by Hezbollah into the Upper Galilee. UNIFIL has not directly blamed Hezbollah, stating that the attack was “likely carried out by non-state actors in Lebanon.”

In another incident, five rockets hit UNIFIL headquarters in Shamaa, located in the western sector. There were no casualties.
Additionally, On the same day, an armed individual directly opened fire on a UNIFIL patrol traveling along a road northeast of the village of Khirbet Selm. In this case, as well, UNIFIL refrained from naming Hezbollah.

Ongoing Ceasefire Negotiations

Amos Hochstein, the U.S. envoy to the Middle East, arrived in Beirut yesterday (November 19) for a series of meetings to promote a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah. Today, Hochstein met again with the Lebanese Parliament Speaker and leader of the Amal Movement, Nabih Berri, who in fact represents Hezbollah’s position. Amal fighters are actively fighting alongside Hezbollah against Israel.

Hochstein is expected to arrive in Israel tomorrow to continue the talks.

Iran-Backed Militias Strike Israel

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility for a UAV attack against a target in southern Israel. The IDF reported it was intercepted.
