- In the last 24 hours, 41 attacks were carried out from Lebanon against Israel, of which Hezbollah claimed responsibility for 18 of them. These attacks included the launch of over 150 rockets and missiles into Israeli territory.
- The attacks targeted communities near the border such as Kiryat Shmona, Metula, Zar’it, Shomera, Manara, and Margaliot, as well as cities like Haifa and the Krayot, Carmiel, Katzrin, Tiberias, Acre, and regions like southern and northern Golan Heights, the Lower Galilee region, and the Jezreel Valley. Additionally, a single launch was made towards the Samaria area and several launches towards Tel Aviv.
- Yesterday (October 21), Hezbollah launched over 100 projectiles at Kiryat Shmona and the nearby communities, as well as towards northern Golan Heights.
- Overnight, in targeted airstrikes by the IDF, weapons depots, command centers, and additional terrorist targets of Hezbollah in Beirut were attacked. Among the targets in Beirut was a central base of Hezbollah’s Naval Unit, where Hezbollah stored military speed boats, a training center, and an area to conduct experiments. The Naval Unit’s speed boats were intended to be used in attacks on Israeli Navy vessels and against naval and strategic targets within Israel’s territorial waters. Before the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians, including issuing precise and advanced warnings to civilians in the area.
- In the last 24 hours, additional terrorist targets of Hezbollah were also attacked from the air, including three command centers of Hezbollah’s air unit (Unit 127) and rocket launchers that were used to fire at Israel territory.
- Yesterday (October 21), Ali Hassan Gharib, known as Abu Hassan Ayman, was eliminated. The strike was carried out while Abu Hassan Ayman was in his vehicle in the Al-Mazzeh neighborhood of Damascus. A photo of the strike location is attached.
- IDF maneuvering forces continued to locate and destroy Hezbollah’s weapons found in villages in southern Lebanon (a picture is attached). Yesterday, the IDF spokesperson reported that since the beginning of the ground maneuver, 7 battalion commanders (brigade commanders), 21 subordinate battalion commanders (battalion commanders), and more than 25 commanders in roles equivalent to company commanders have been eliminated.
- This morning (October 21), Hezbollah launched five projectiles towards the Tel Aviv area, the Carmel Coast, and the Krayot (a video of a missile hitting one of the communities is attached, credit: unknown). Additionally, around 40 rockets were launched towards Naot Mordechai and western Galilee, injuring 5 civilians.
- The Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility for two UAVs attacks on targets in northern Israel. It was reported that a UAV that crossed into Israeli territory fell into open land in the Golan Heights.
