IDF Operations in Lebanon While Upholding the Ceasefire
The IDF remains deployed in southern Lebanon, conducting defensive operations near border communities and neutralizing threats in the area.
In recent days, an underground network spanning ten of meters, equipped with an exit point leading to firing positions targeting Israeli communities and military posts, was destroyed. Numerous weapons, including mortars and rockets, were discovered along the tunnel’s route.
Additional IDF operations under the ceasefire framework resulted in the seizure of more weapons and the elimination of Hezbollah operatives threatening Israeli forces. A rocket launcher was targeted in Majdal Zuon, and weapon caches were destroyed in Khiam, Souaneh, and Aitaroun.
Funerals of Hezbollah Operatives
Reports from Lebanon indicate a significant number of funerals for Hezbollah terrorists in recent days. It is believed that these include terrorists who were killed during the war but could not be buried earlier.
