Hezbollah Senior Hajj Abbas al-Yatama (Abu Maytham), Dies After Struggling From COVID-19

One of Hezbollah’s senior figures Hajj Abbas al-Yatama (Abu Maytham), died last week after struggling from COVID-19. He took part in the Second Lebanon War against Israel and was one of the first Hezbollah operatives to fight in Aleppo in Syria.

A photo with Suleimani (on the right) shows his position in Hezbollah’s hierarchy. In light of his status in Hezbollah, we can expect an obituary from Nasrallah.
