Five hundred people lived in Sasa, a kibbutz in northern Israel, in peacetime, but now only 13 remain, following a mandatory evacuation order from the government. In all, almost 100,000 Israelis have been forced to leave their homes along the border with Lebanon amid fears Hezbollah will come across the border, as Hamas did on October 7.

Dear Sarit,
Thank you for the newsletter and information about the issues of the border where you are.
It’s complex and militias make it impossible, and yet everyone needs a border.
Perhaps God will deal with Iran.
I pray for blessings over you for a safe border.
Barbara Hallam.
