Residents of the village of Adaisseh, near the border in the contact line area with Israel, along with various volunteers, launched the “Returning to Adaisseh” campaign. Volunteers conducted a series of visits to the homes of Adaisseh residents currently in the village, providing them with assistance. As part of the effort, various organizations supplied hot meals, food packages, blankets, diapers, and medicines. Among the organizations active in the village is the “We Are All With You” association (transliterated as “Kulluna Haddak”), whose members can be seen in the photo and whose main offices are in Sidon. Additionally, water quantities were distributed to families who recently returned to live in the village. In most villages near the border, it was reported during the war that 90 to 100 percent of residents had abandoned their homes. These villages effectively served as a large military infrastructure for Hezbollah, aimed, among other things, at providing a platform for its invasion plan into the Galilee. IDF airstrikes and ground operations during the war targeted these villages. The return of displaced residents to the contact line area with Israel must not be allowed. Such a return would enable Hezbollah to once again use residents as human shields for the military infrastructure it seeks to rebuild near the border with Israel.

Dear Tal,
I must disagree with your disapproval concerning the current return of residents to their homes in the north. We MUST posess the land! Residents should be properly armed and defended, not kept out of their own land and homes in a reactive fear response. Proclaim Liberty, not retreat! We are more than able to posess the land!!!
Dear Tal,
Perhaps my lack of knowledge of the border villages and locations has caused a perceptual error on my part, and my interpreting your article incorrectly. I visited Metula in 1980, and have strong convictions regarding the Israelis taking possession of their God given promised land. To clarify my position:
All hezbollah forces and supporters must be removed from Lebanon, and the Israeli residents must be free from all terrorist threats to their homes.
