Hezbollah’s Use of Force and Military Buildup

Since Hezbollah joined the current war on March 02, the IDF has carried out several prominent eliminations in the organization, such as the commander of the Nasr unit, the head of the intelligence headquarters (Unit 200), the commander of the fire control unit, the commander of the southern region in the Radwan unit, the commander of the missile array in the Badr unit, the commander of the fire control unit in the Badr unit, and a professional knowledge center in the aerial unit (Unit 127). In the report we published on February 4, we quantitatively and qualitatively analyzed the effectiveness of the eliminations from a military perspective and recommended a policy of prioritizing eliminations at the military level. Below is a mapping of the centers of gravity in terms of the use of force and the building of military power in Hezbollah by position holders and units: Position holders: Seniors – the military leadership echelon and the population of the senior directing command echelon: the commanders of the geographical units, the commanders of the professional units, the commanders of the headquarters units, commanders, and their recipients. The Middle Level – the commanders of the Foj (battalions) and their counterparts in the various units and formations, and professional operators defined as “knowledge centers”. Units: The Missile and Rocket Array (the array commanders, the missile unit commanders in the array, the area commanders in the units, and the sector commanders operating under the area commanders). The Radwan Unit (the battalion commanders). The Aerial Unit (commanders and professional knowledge centers). The Logistics Array and the Production Directorate (professional knowledge centers).
