In this February 2025 satellite image (Airbus), a variety of lethal IRGC assets were on display within the Bandar Abbas port: Anti-Ship missiles, Fast Attack Boats, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. On June 21, 2025, the IDF destroyed the UAV storage warehouse at Bandar Abbas port. Based on this image, we can identify the types of UAVs destroyed: Ababil UAVs, Mohajer-6, and some smaller ISR aircraft. All forward-deployed to be used in the event of confrontation over the Strait of Hormuz, the vital waterway through which roughly 30% of global seaborne oil traffic passes. We will soon be publishing a special update on the Iranian forces positioned around the Strait of Hormuz and how Iran could leverage concessions by force.
