Israel delivers another loud and clear message to Iran

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Last week Israel held a trilateral meeting of Russian, US and Israeli national security advisors Nikolai Patrushev, John Bolton and Meir Ben Shabbat.
The agreements that were reached remain unclear as different reports were released varying from an Israeli and American understanding that Iranian forces would leave Syria, to the Russian statement that condemned any designation of Iran as a threat to global security and called for fewer Israeli attacks in Syria.
Three parties came together last week but the number of contradicting interests was much larger. Russian and Iranian economic benefits from the situation in Syria will accumulate faster in a calm stable state. The US continues to sanction and pressure Iran and would like to have Russia on their side in the hope that they could minimize the US military presence that is hurting US interests and allies.
Israel on its part is very transparently putting its interests out there at every opportunity they get. Iranian military presence in Syria in general and accurate missiles specifically are a security threat that Israel cannot live with.
Israel has demanded repeatedly that no Iranian military presence will be tolerated 100 Km from the Israeli border. Israel is apparently not relying only on diplomacy. According to publications in Syria and the foreign press, Israel attacked again Sunday night hitting ten different targets- Iranian and Hezbollah bases in Syria.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/QHQcA5eK2x0″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Major General Yoel Strick Outgoing Commander – Northern Command interviewed by Ron Ben Ishai for ynet April 18th 2019[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
