On February 25, the Jordanian army thwarted smuggling using a drone from southern Syria. The drone was thwarted by Jordanian border guard forces when it crossed the border from Syria to Jordan. The drone carried an M4 rifle and four hand grenades in high probability, the weapon was destined to be smuggled from the territory of Jordan to the territories of Judea and Samaria for terrorists.
Iranian statements regarding the intention to strengthen the “resistance” from the territories of Judea and Samaria are reflected in the increase in attempts to smuggle weapons along the route known to us from southern Syria (Dara’a region) to northern Jordan and from there to the territory of Israel.
