The Palestinian refugees to return to their same old status-quo in Syria?

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]According to reports in Syria, the Syrian government decided to return the Palestinian refugees to the Al-Yarmouk refugee camp and will permit the Palestinian Authority and UNWRA to reconstruct the camp. Unfortunately, this could have been a golden opportunity for Palestinian refugees to be granted permanent residency in Syria. However, the Syrian government continues its pre-war view of the Palestinian refugees; refuse to grant them legal status in the name of “continuing the yearning for a return to Palestine”. In the meanwhile, those refugees are expected to live in harsh conditions, despite their alliance with Assad throughout the war.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row]
