Hezbollah operates according to a distinct hybrid model, in which civilian infrastructure is integrated with military infrastructure, enabling its activities. Many Hezbollah operatives work in civilian professions while also being active in various military fields. Sheikh Ali Abd al-Hassan Nur al-Din was a religious preacher and host of the program “Al-Shahid” on Hezbollah’s Al-Manar network. He was eliminated on January 26 because he was also responsible for Hezbollah’s artillery array in the village of Al-Harash in southern Lebanon. The “journalist” Nur al-Din was first and foremost a military terrorist operative. He is not the only one. Additional “journalists” known to us working under Hezbollah’s media array, in addition to being servants of propaganda, also perform parallel roles in Hezbollah’s military array.
