Three highlights from the UN’s latest report regarding “Implementation of Security Council resolution 1701 (2006)”

Containers and infrastructure of “green without borders” were in 11 locations near the blue line. Describes in detail the prevention of UNIFIL’s freedom of access to these positions, including the prevention of UNIFIL’s access to the Blue Line and threats to the force in the areas where the positions are located.
Helicopter patrols located shooting ranges and armed activists in western South Lebanon (near Zebkin, Kantra, Deir Amis, and Faron, p. 3 of the report). The Lebanese army is delaying setting a date for inspecting these places.
Twenty-three incidents of disruption of UNIFIL work (threats, obstructions, and damage to vehicles). At the hands of Hezbollah personnel defined in the report as “individuals in civilian clothes.”

UNIFIL, Call A Spade A Spade – “Hezbollah” The shooting ranges, positions, and blocking freedom of movement – all these are Hezbollah military operatives and not “individuals in civilian clothes,” as you call them.
