In October 2025, Syrian forces foiled three attempts to smuggle weapons into Lebanon in the Al-Qusayr area included: anti-tank missiles, 82 mm mortar shells, radios, hundreds of kilograms of explosives, a 12.7 mm DShk machine gun with full ammunition boxes, ammunition for a 14.5 mm KPV anti-aircraft gun, at least one Russian MANPAD anti-aircraft system, and 107 mm HE rockets.
One of the boxes shows a 2015 production date – likely indicating the origin of the weapons. It is highly likely that that the weapons were stolen from the old Syrian army’s stockpiles after the fall of the Assad regime and are now being transferred to Hezbollah in exchange for payment. Another option is that these are ammunition that were stored in warehouses that Hezbollah held in the Syrian-Lebanon border areas and are now working to transfer them to Lebanon.

Dear Dana,
The sunni-shia terrorist competition war continues to rage. Both are up to NO GOOD!
Corrupted trees cannot bring forth good fruit. They must be cut down and cast into the fire. Both have sworn a death covenant to destroy Israel. Both will reap total destruction upon themselves.
