Summary

Over the weekend, Hezbollah’s attacks on Israel continued, including targeting on civilian communities. The IDF carried out targeted strikes across Lebanon, particularly in Beirut, during which terrorist infrastructure, weapons storage facilities, and several senior terrorists were eliminated.

Hezbollah Continues its attacks and Carried Out 91 Attacks Against Israel Over the Weekend

Over the past 72 hours, Hezbollah and other terror organizations operating carried out 91 attacks against targets in Israel. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for 64 of these attacks, some of which were aimed directly at civilians.

Hezbollah Targets Israeli Civilians

The attacks included direct attacks on communities near the border such as Shlomi, Kiryat Shmona, Misgav Am, and Metula, as well as on cities farther away like Nahariya, the Krayot, Haifa, and Safed.

On Thursday, (November 14), a Hezbollah UAV exploded in the Elyakim area, about 50 kilometers from the Israel-Lebanon border, injuring two IDF soldiers. Yesterday, (November 16), Hezbollah launched about 10 projectiles toward the Haifa area, resulting in a direct hit to a public building in the city.

IDF Operations in Lebanon

During a ground operation in Lebanon, IDF forces found loaded rocket launchers aimed at Israel, as well as large quantities of weapons and military equipment. Additionally, several terrorists were eliminated, and several Hezbollah underground terror infrastructures were destroyed.

In one occasion, IDF forces uncovered a shaft leading to an underground facility, near which they found a weapons storage facility, ammunition, and motorcycles prepared for a raid on Israeli communities.

Over the weekend, several strikes targeted Hezbollah terror sites in Beirut and Tyre, including weapons depots, headquarters, and other terror infrastructures. The attacks in Tyra focused on military assets associated with Hezbollah’s ‘Aziz’ unit, responsible for attacks against Israel from the southwestern Lebanon area.

IDF Continues to Target Senior Hezbollah Figures

Over the weekend, the IDF eliminated several senior Hezbollah terrorists, including a battalion operations commander, an anti-tank battalion commander in Radwan unit’s coastal area, and a Radwan unit company commander.

Today (November 17), another strike was carried out in Beirut. According to initial reports, the target of the strike was the head of Hezbollah’s propaganda division, Mohammad Afif.

Iran-backed Militias Attack Israel

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility for six UAV attacks aimed at targets in Israel. The IDF intercepted two of these UAVs, while the remaining incidents had no further indications.

Additionally, this morning, the IDF intercepted a UAV that entered Israeli airspace launched from Yemen.
