February 8, in the afternoon, an airstrike was carried out in the city of Nabatieh, in the neighborhood of Kfar Raman, near the monument in memory of Hassan Kamal al-Zabah. A black Hyundai vehicle was attacked in which, according to local reports, a senior Hezbollah operative named Abbas Muhammad Al Dabs, known as “Haj Abdullah”, was in the vehicle. Al Debs, originally from the village of Blat in the Nebatieh region, born in January 1979. Along with him was another operative named Wassam Pasa’ei.
According to reports, it is possible that Al Debs was related to Hezbollah’s air defense unit. Other reports define him as area commander. It should be noted that today Hezbollah launched an anti-tank missile from the Al Hayam area towards the Kiryat Shmona area and caused casualties. At this point there is no final verification whether Al Debs was in the car and whether he was eliminated. If he is eliminated, Hezbollah will probably publish an official announcement, as it usually does with regard to its dead operatives.
