Between October 15 and 19, the IDF carried out several strikes against Hezbollah’s terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon and in the Beqaa. The IDF continues to focus its efforts on striking infrastructure and engineering equipment that support Hezbollah’s reconstruction process. In the Ansar – Mazraat Sinay area (Nabatieh District), a quarry was struck that contained facilities belonging to the “Al-Majabel” concrete production company. A reservoir holding half a million liters of diesel fuel was also struck, along with a Hezbollah site operating under civilian cover of the “Green Without Borders” association. The quarry produces the concrete used by Hezbollah to rebuild its military infrastructure, which had already been targeted in the past. These main strikes were carried out north of the Litani River, in the geographical area of the Badr Unit, which currently serves as the center of gravity for Hezbollah’s military operations after the areas of the Nasr and Aziz Units south of the Litani were severely damaged during the war. South of the Litani, two Hezbollah operatives involved in infrastructure reconstruction were eliminated; one of them was operating a tractor. In the Beqaa, near the town of Shmustar, underground Hezbollah sites used for storing weapons were struck.
