On 28 November, the Lebanese Armed Forces conducted a field tour for journalists intended to demonstrate the “progress” of the first phase of the program to collect weapons south of the Litani River. During the tour, the army presented a Hezbollah tunnel located in Wadi Zebqine — a tunnel approximately 100 meters in length. Footage released from the visit shows the tunnel stripped of any military equipment or weaponry.
It appears that the Lebanese Armed Forces have taken no measures to prevent Hezbollah’s future use of such infrastructure, such as sealing or demolishing the tunnel.
This is the second tunnel in the same area that the Lebanese army has publicized, the first having been revealed in August 2025.

The heat map we published marking one year since the ceasefire in #Lebanon shows that the Zebqine area — where the two tunnels were identified — is among the most frequently targeted locations by the IDF over the past year.
Based on these findings, it can be assessed that both tunnels uncovered in Zebqine were abandoned by Hezbollah on its own initiative, independent of any Lebanese Armed Forces activity, and that Hezbollah is not currently using them, in part due to the intensity of Israeli strikes in the area.
We assess with high confidence that a coordinated arrangement was established between Hezbollah and the Lebanese Armed Forces, enabling the army to access the tunnel area in Wadi Zebqine, which is considered a Hezbollah military zone. The Lebanese army cannot enter such an area without Hezbollah’s approval and coordination. This is a choreographed display.
