The Central Committee of the residents of Daraa el Balad reached an agreement with the Syrian regime. It was agreed to hand over small arms and wave punishment for dozens of locals wanted by the regime forces. They also agreed on new military checkpoints in Daraa al-Balad area.
The agreement was reached following threats from the regime to declare war on Daraa el Balad and attack it. This is after the Syrian regime brought military reinforcements to the Panorama stadium in Daraa City.
