The situation along the Israel-Lebanon border remains tense, with ongoing Hezbollah attacks against civilian targets. The IDF continues its ongoing operations to target the terrorist infrastructure built by Hezbollah in civilian villages in southern Lebanon and to disrupt its weapons smuggling from Syria to Lebanon.

Hezbollah Conducts 10 Attacks Against Israel in the Last 24 Hours

In the past 24 hours, Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations in Lebanon have carried out 10 attacks against Israel, with Hezbollah claiming responsibility for 7 of them.

Hezbollah Continue to Launch Rockets and Missiles at Civilian Areas in Israel
Hezbollah launched direct attacks on border-adjacent communities such as Yiftah, Yir’on, Kiryat Shmona, and Metula, but also targeted areas farther from the border, including the Golan Heights and the Tel Aviv region.

This morning (November 6), Hezbollah launched 10 missiles toward the Tel Aviv area, home to 3.5 million residents, or 40% of Israel’s population. Most of the missiles were intercepted, and there were no casualties. One of the missiles hit in the vicinity of the Ben Gurion Airport. Attached is a photo of damage caused to a car as a result of missile debris, as well as the area where one of the missiles struck.

IDF Activity in Syria
On November 5, the IDF targeted weapons storage facilities used by Hezbollah’s munitions unit in the al-Qusayr region, Syria. Hezbollah’s munitions unit is responsible for storing weapons in Lebanon and has recently expanded its operations into Syria, near the Syria-Lebanon border. This is yet another example of Hezbollah establishing logistical infrastructure for the transfer of weapons from Syria to Lebanon through land border crossings. This strike is part of the IDF’s ongoing efforts to thwart Hezbollah’s weapons smuggling from Syria into Lebanon.

IDF Activity in Lebanon
IDF forces continue to operate in southern Lebanon. In the past 24 hours, dozens of terrorists were eliminated, and weapons storage facilities, rocket launchers, military structures, and other terrorist infrastructure were identified and targeted. Hussein Abdul-Halim Kharab, a Hezbollah battalion commander in the al-Khiam sector, was eliminated.
