Details on four of Iran’s largest ballistic missile bases hit by US-IDF airstrikes in the first 48 hours of Operation Roaring Lion (Analysis according to imagery by Planet – Visual aids are with pre-war imagery)
1. Khorgo – In Hormozgan province, this MRBM base was not targeted during operations in June 2025. At least three support structures have been destroyed as of 01 March 2026. This base has silos for underground launch capability. 2. Isfahan – In Isfahan province, this base was heavily damaged on the surface during operations in June 2025. Multiple structures destroyed in the June 2025 war have been rebuilt, and at least one of them has been destroyed again as of 01 March 2026. 3. Khorramabad – In Lorestan province, this base was heavily damaged on the surface during operations in June 2025. The support site for a recently built tunnel network near the base entrance was targeted with airstrikes as of 01 March 2026. This base also has silos for underground launch capability. 4. Tabriz – In East Azerbaijan province, this was heavily damaged on the surface during operations in June 2025. The entrances and support site to an underground tunnel network were heavily bombed and buried in the most recent round of airstrikes in the past 48 hours. This base has also exhibited some reconstruction activity.
