IDF Exposes Hezbollah Bunker Under UNIFIL Watchtower!

During the ground fighting, Hezbollah takes advantage of UNIFIL’s presence in the territory of South Lebanon as part of their human shield tactic. It operates in the vicinity of UNIFIL outposts and positions to defend against IDF attacks. Before the start of the northern fighting (October 8, 2023), Hezbollah took advantage of the fact that UNIFIL did not want and could not fulfill the mandate given to it under resolution 1701. Hezbollah established part of the Radwan unit’s attack infrastructure very close to UNIFIL bases, taking advantage of the fact that UNIFIL preferred to ignore Hezbollah activity. UNIFIL also Neither prevented nor reported this terror activity. The attached video shows an underground bunker of the Radwan unit meters away from a UN position and base. During the last week, the incidents in which two UNIFIL personnel were injured in the Naqoura area and the UN positions in the Labbouneh area and Ras Naqoura were damaged, were caused by Hezbollah using UNIFIL as a human shield and operating in their surroundings on purpose. UNIFIL failed to report on Hezbollah’s activity in southern Lebanon but “excels” in reporting on IDF activity in southern Lebanon in a way that endangers IDF forces. From UNIFIL’s announcements, it seems that UNIFIL is starting to imitate Hezbollah, and it is also starting to report and publish exaggerated and inaccurate publications, to say the least. UNIFIL is harming Israel’s efforts to fight terrorism and dismantle Hezbollah after failing to do so itself. All this after the IDF representatives submitted a request to the UN on September 30 to remove its personnel from positions within 5 km of the Blue Line. Yesterday (October 13), the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, addressed the UN Secretary-General with a repeated request to evacuate the UNIFIL forces from southern Lebanon.
