Major Iranian Ballistic Missile Bases Sustain Critical Damage in Latest 48 Hours of Operation Roaring Lion

Details on four of Iran’s largest ballistic missile bases hit by US-IDF airstrikes updated in the last 48 hours of Operation Roaring Lion (Analysis according to imagery by Sentinel-2 and Airbus
– Visual aids are with pre-war imagery).

Hajiabad – In Hormozgan province, this MRBM base was not targeted during operations in June 2025. At least three mobile MRBM launchers have been destroyed above ground at the base as of 01 March 2026. This base has silos for underground launch capability.

    Dezful North – In Khuzestan province, this base sustained damage on the surface during operations in June 2025. The main exterior support site, which survived the June 2025 operation, has now been completely destroyed at some time between 01 and 03 March 2026.

      Kermanshah North – In Kermanshah province, the tunnel entrances and structures outside them were hit with airstrikes during operations in June 2025. Since the start of operations on 28 February 2026, the entire exterior support site has been destroyed, and the entrances were once again targeted. Industrial construction equipment outside the base has also been destroyed.

      Tabriz South – In East Azerbaijan province, this was heavily damaged during operations in June 2025. Targets in the most recent round of strikes include a Radome, the base air defense site, a tunnel entrance, a new facility which was under construction, and a structure in the administrative area.
