Elimination in Damascus – December 25th, 2023

On December 25th, 2023, Iranian Brigadier General Reza Mousavi (known as “Sayed Reza”) was killed in Damascus by an airstrike. He served as Iran’s logistical liaison (Revolutionary Guards/Quds Force) in Syria and was active in Syria for many years, possibly since the 1990s. Mousavi was actually the central figure in everything related to the Iranian weapons corridor to Syria and Lebanon, which includes the transfer of advanced weapons to Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Shiite militias in Syria. It is also possible that he was involved in arms smuggling (with an emphasis on “status violating” arms) from Syria, through Jordan towards the terrorist organizations in Judea and Samaria.

The now assasinated Reza Mousavi speaks in a past interview about his last meeting with Soleimani the night Soleimani was eliminated.

In footage showing a night drive, Reza Mousavi says that when he was with Qassem Soleimani, Soleimani told him that he was already old and it was time to be a marty.

Here he says that he met Soleimani in 2000 when the latter arrived at the MoSDF brigade entrusted with guarding Khamenei.
